Security & privacy
Your radio traffic stays yours
What stays at your station, what reaches us, and who can see what.
Your data stays at your station
Recordings, transcripts, incidents and users are stored on your own PC. With the built-in speech engine, no audio leaves the building.
What our license server receives
A daily check-in: the license, the computer's installation ID, the version, the agency details you enter in the Manager, and the connection's IP address. No audio, transcripts or incident data, unless you use an add-on that needs it:
- Cloud backup uploads your database and recordings to our private storage, nightly.
- Remote support answers our diagnostic requests only while you allow it: status, sources, errors, logs, settings with passwords hidden. Never recordings or transcripts.
- Online speech or AI engines, if you choose them, send audio or transcripts to that provider. EMS channels are never sent to an AI.
Access control
- Individual accounts with admin, officer and viewer roles; settings only on the server PC.
- Every change to transcripts, events, incidents and settings is audit-logged.
- EMS channels are off by default and need an explicit privacy acknowledgement.
- Remote access through Cloudflare Tunnel and Cloudflare Access: no open ports.
- Signed licenses and signed updates from our servers only.
